Research Analyst - Korean, Japanese or Chinese Speaker

Manila

We are looking for a highly-motivated and organized analyst to join our Research team. As the world's premier vendor of forward-looking, date-related data, we have as clients the most prestigious financial firms. We are a globally-minded company with offices in New York, London, Delhi, and Manila.



Research Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage research products and ensure our customers have accurate and timely data.

• Monitor inter-bank settlement holidays, trading hours, expiry dates, and economic events for assigned financial centers.

• Analyze the information gathered and ensure that published data is accurate, drawing on extensive knowledge of the habits, patterns, and culture pertaining to each financial center.

• Study all relevant people, institutions, laws, and regulations that form the primary sources of information for the research topics assigned.

• Work in 'virtual teams' with colleagues from across the world to ensure that projects are completed conforming to target dates and standards required.

• Network with Central Bank, Stock Exchange, FX Trade Support, and CSD officials from around the world.



As part of our Research Analyst training program, you will enhance your knowledge of financial markets, culture, and country knowledge, learn about our products, and build relationships throughout the company's international offices. The program covers financial concepts and institutions, such as Central Banks, Stock Exchanges, Central Securities Depositories, Clearinghouses, Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange.



Qualifications for the position

• Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Communication or Management is preferable).

• Fluent in English and either Korean, Japanese or Chinese.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Self-motivated and independent.

• Highly detailed-oriented and organized.



Place of Work

In the office at Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2 at least three days per week.



Hours of Work

Your normal hours of work will be from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am New York time, which is equivalent to 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Manila time, depending on the time of the year. You will work Monday to Friday, with 1 hour allocated for lunch.
