Upcoming: Nasdaq’s Nordic Power Contracts Migrate to Euronext
Starting March 16, Nasdaq’s Nordic Power Contracts (excluding German contracts, which were suspended on March 9) will officially begin trading on Euronext Amsterdam.
In addition to administrative changes, there are a number of operational changes:
🗓️ Holidays
🔹 Contracts will now be tradable on four days that were previously holidays.
🔹 Holy Thursday (April 2) will be the first instance of this change.
🗓️ Trading Sessions
🔹 Regular trading hours remain unchanged.
🔹 Two new sessions will be introduced:
➡️ Opening call
➡️ Uncrossing
🔹 All sessions will, for the first time, be subject to randomization
